Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Today I didn't do anything. I briefly mentally plotted what to do with the "baroque seahorse" I started a month ago, but didn't actually do anything to it. It's something we were roasting in the current bookclub book at the last meeting. Tomorrow we will be discussing the book and I hoped I would be done with it by now, but I haven't touched it since I started. So much for that.

Since I last checked in, I have been knitting pretty steadily on the shawl, but stopped last night when it became obvious that I am going have get more yarn to finish the last 7 rows.

I also have continued to be sick. The day after I checked in last, I was doing better, fantastic even, which was great as I had to help my dad grocery shop, but that night I got significantly worse and have pretty much stayed there. Today was better enough that I think I can manage book club tomorrow, but we'll see tomorrow. (No, I am not contagious.)

So sorry you're having such a rough time healthwise. Hope you'll be better soon.

Congrats on the shawl knitting but it sucks that you don't have enough yarn =(

I think mentally plotting things should count. You're getting your mind in the right frame to be GO for creativity when the moment comes.
