Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No crafting yet today, but last night I made 12 sets of spider legs while watching TV. Hoping to do the same tonight.


This after though, I put together a small flat-pack shelf unit I bought a couple of years ago. shifted things in the boxroom so I could put it where I want it, and then shoved a load of DVDs into it. I've been moving a lot of stuff around because I'm trying to get access to the cabinet where all my various punches are. I want to move them to somewhere I'll be able to get at them, so hopefully I can get that far tomorrow...

Good luck! Getting my punches in places with easy access has been an ongoing project for me for at least two years. Still no permanent solution, unfortunately.

I've made two new tags for the baby book today; not as work-intensive as the previous ones, since this time I could use some ready-made embellishments, like self-adhesive acrylic stones and handmade paper flowers, but still a lot of effort nonetheless. I'm happy with the outcome, so it was worth the effort.

I have a bit plastic set of drawers on wheels and I'm hoping the punches will fit in one of the drawers.

All kinds of progress happening here! At least the activity keeps me from freezing. So much for summer, 15C outside today, several degrees lower indoors.

It was the same here, too - cloudy and chilly. I like it more than the heat but it did catch me off-guard when I went outside in short sleeves!

I need it to be warmer, my body does not retain heat well and neither does my house, so I'm bundled up like it's midwinter just trying to stay warm. Hot water bottle again tonight. Temperature's dropping to 8C.

Yes, but every single one is different, so I really enjoy making them. Even if it's frustrating that I often don't have the kind of paper or embellishments I'd like to use.
