Check-In Post April 16th 2023
Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Yesterday and today, I knitted on the second not-a-baby-blanket. I'm about halfway done with it. Tonight I had to join in a new skein of yarn and I kind of goofed it up, but you can't tell from the front, so yay.
Yesterday, I also did some catching up on my art journaling prompts. I'm still undecided on if it it's actually helping.
And I tested my new label maker. It works pretty much as reviewed; when it works, it's great, but it doesn't work at least half the time, which, honestly, I'm fine with, as it was $1.25. I'm just happy it works at least part of the time. I am going to have to find more tape for it though.
Today, I gave myself a budget to stockpile some yarn while running other errands. I was under budget overall and it fits in the space I made for it. More importantly, I should have things to work on for awhile.
I was also going to finish repairing one of my cat's little houses, but it didn't quite make it today. I did catnip spray the rest of her furniture. It's her 15th birthday and I might have over done it.

Well done on the blanket and prompts!
That sounds frustrating about the label maker, but I'm glad it works some of the time, at least.
Happy birthday to the kitty!

Thanks!
Yeah, it's from the Dollar Tree, I was not expecting miracles. I technically have a better one, if it were working, I just cannot for the life of me figure out what is wrong with it and the internet has been unhelpful. I figure one that partially works is better than not working and they take the same tape.
Thank you! She is happily napping under her heat light. :)

At that price, working 50% of the time is good enough.
It always pays to have a stash so you don't have to scramble to buy something when you're ready to start a new project.
Happy Birthday to your cat! Betting she's enjoying the catnip *grins*

That's what I thought x2
Thank you! She loved it. She also got a new cardboard box to play in that she's been enjoying.
