Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I managed 38 rows on the sleeve altogether yesterday. Rows are, of course, getting steadily longer so I don't suppose I'll match that today, but it's all progress.

Still working on my Tunisian pouch - I may run out of yellow but have other colors in this yarn. It has been laundry day too. Going okay, last load is in the washer (2:30 here).

My dad made me a bird feeder because I've been having so much fun watching birds this winter. It's made from a barn board from the family farm. We put it up yesterday and the cardinals found it right away. The sparrows followed me this morning when I really filled it.

This is the benefit of my current project being a rectangle. :D Do you have tv to watch with knitting tonight? I'm watching one of those relaxation ocean videos as background noise.

That's a terrific birdfeeder =) Weather here has turned cold and it's been trying to snow so I've put extra foods out for my birdies.

Straight is so much easier...

NCIS New Orleans is on 5 nights a week at present, so that gives me an hour of knitting then it's DVDs at the weekend.

I managed 30 rows, which was pretty good =D

Another craft-less day. Too much to do, and the little spare time left was spent writing.

The bird feeder is lovely. Laundry day is tedious, but a necessary evil.

Worked on my bag this morning for a bit.

I just cast on for another bag, this time from a pattern and not my own recipe: Woolly Bully Bag. The zipper on my purse is shot, and I'm sick of fighting with it so I figured I might as well knit myself a purse. I prefer the kind I can sling crosswise over my body, so this bag will do the trick. I'm using Patons Classic Wool (which felts beautifully) in Brown Mustard color. I picked up a magnetic snap to sew on for the flap, too.

I'm hoping to get both bags done this month so I can turn them in for credit in Nerdopolis. Fingers crossed life calms down enough for me to do so!

Considering I have many more stitches than I had for the first few rows, it's not bad. I've gone from 57 to 91.

Nice pattern! I prefer wearing my bags like that too, it's more secure. Good luck with getting both bags finished in time to submit them!

I have run out of yellow. I think I'll go with orange to finish up.
