Today I have cast off the neckband, sewn up the shoulder seam/neckband, folded the neckband over and stitched the edge down. NOT on the plum sweater, but on the dark red one that I never got around to finishing and sewing up.


Also ribbed two more rows on the neckband of the plum sweater and cast off.

Now I plan to compulsively cast on the next one.

I think about 3.5 weeks? I've been trying to put my nervous energy into knitting instead of less useful things.

I did a tiny bit of crafting, because of headlines, but made very little progress, since my palm still hurt (paper cuts and grating ginger don't work well together), and I was morose anyway due to having wasted the morning with the regularly scheduled cleaning frenzy. It is a miracle that I haven't messed up the page I've been working on for two days. There are small mistakes, but I think I've covered them well enough; let's hope nothing will fall apart.

I'm in the finishing stages of two. One that I knitted last year or the previous winter, and one I started in January.

Also planning to start another soon.

Still have to sew the sleeves on and sew up side and sleeves seams - on both sweaters, plus getting the neck finished on the plum one. Going to take a week or two.
