Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another day of zero crafting. What with writing a fic for a challenge and spending half my time turning wet logs to make sure they dry on all sides, the day just vanished and then it was too dark to see. Plus I still had chores. Just to add to the fun, I must have stepped badly yesterday moving logs, because I've done something to my right ankle, so I'll forget and go to do something, and OW!

It is finished, and I'm more or less content with the outcome. There could be a bit more background stuff, and the colours are a bit too bright, but all in all, it is okay. See for yourself:



In original, the colours are a tad milder, but I had to doctor the picture a bit because the iPad mini turned the reds into oranges. As a result, everything got a little garish, but that can't be helped. Let's hope Dani will love the teddy and all the removable parts - which is basically everything, except the ship's body.

Cross stitch cards are continuing and I'm knitting the neck ribbing for Mini Hobbit's cardi. I'd like to do some more Christmas knitting but don't seem to have got round to it this week.

It's okay most of the time, but I've always had weak ankles, doesn't take much to damage them *shrugs* If it keeps causing problems I'll strap it up. Done that more times than I can count.

Finished the Artfully Simple Angled Scarf (crocheted). I'll post a pic of it in my monthly round-up in my journal at the end of the month. I could have made the scarf wider, into a shawlette, but decided eh, I was bored of it and just wanted it done.

I ripped out the Free for All Cowl (knitted). It was just way too wide for my liking, even with the chevron in it. Instead I'm working on crocheting a shell stitch cowl.

Otherwise, not much. Mostly refreshing Twitter and joining Discord servers because of the shenanigans going on with Twitter. I'm poking at Tumblr, too.

Well done finishing the scarf. Hope the second cowl works better for you than the first.

Twitter seems to be a bit of a sinking ship. I've never been on there, but for those that are I think this is definitely the time to explore other options.

That's very annoying. That it's both ankles and also that you spent all day messing with wood. I've had to start keeping a velcro ankle brace handy but it's just the one for me.

Thanks. It'll be fine, been a while since the last time I injured an ankle so I'm mostly annoyed at the inconvenience, especially since I have no idea what I did to it. Weak ankles mean I don't have to do much, so I'm sitting here flexing it. If that doesn't help and it keeps being bothersome, I'll bandage it tomorrow.

I consider frogging to be progress as well.

I tried Twitter for a while but feeds kept pulling focus away from the communities I was trying to be a part of. So I wasn't too invested there.
