Yesterday I made Suffolk Puffs

Not long before Strictly so I'm posting now, even though I don't have much to report. It's been dry today so I got outside for a bit, clearing brambles from around the side of the house. It's a mess.


The brooch backs arrived, but one was broken so I cut up a safety pin to provide a new brooch pin. I'll use that one on the meece I made for myself.


I've cast on for a mini pumpkin, hoping to knit 2 or 3 while Strictly is on.

Which is why they are good to knit in front of the telly. *g*

Craft-less day, both in the English and the German sense of the word. (being kraftless means in German not having any strength left). Housework overwhelmed me, and then I just wasn't in the mood. Perhaps tomorrow.

Gah housework. That has mostly been me today as well.

I had my doily out but didn't get to work on it. I did finish drying the rest of the thyme (need to package it up shortly). Also went to aunt's house for more iris starts. Tomorrow will be devoted to getting them in the ground.

I started making notes for spring 2023 gardening. My aunt has a bunch of short purple chrysanthemums too, they are better to transplant in spring.

The fiddly part is casting on, then increasing in every stitch. After that it's stocking stitch until the decrease row, knitting two together all the way across. But the yarn I'm using is a three strand one and if I'm not looking I don't always catch all three strands. Not ideal for knitting with while watching TV.

Sounds like your garden will have lots of colour next year! I love irises.
