Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Got out in the garden briefly while it was dry and warmish despite the wind because I wanted to cut down the branches growing from the stump of the buddleia that refuses to die. I've left two that are still flowering but once the flowers die off I'll remove them and take an axe to the stump to try and discourage new growth. I've already had to do the same with the laurel stump.


On the meece front, 4 bodies knitted and 8 pairs of ears crocheted.

I had chores and then choir practice, so no crafting was done today. But that is okay. No need to press forward when there's neither time nor energy for it. Tomorrow will be another day.

True, sometimes it's good to take a break from crafting, otherwise it becomes stressful trying to fit it in.

You're doing great! Sounds like there's not a lot left to do on the dress. Of course I know next to nothing about sewing so I'm probably wrong.

It was good. It rained later and it's raining today, so I'm glad I got that job done while I could.

Singing with the choir is always a delight - my only tiny piece of outside activity in these days, which I enjoy very much.

There are still intermittent problems, I've had occasional issues myself, but hopefully they will eventually settle down. There have been times recently that I've been denied access to my own journal, even though I'm logged in. I just remind myself that dreamwidth cutting ties with Cloudflare is a good thing, and the dreamwidth team are continuing to work on the problems.
