Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

It's been miserable weather today, strong winds and pouring rain, making everywhere feel even colder. I procrastinated too long this morning so I started writing much later than I should have and wound up not having time for crafting this afternoon. Did manage to knit three mini meece bodies this evening though, that's better than nothing.

I checked the wallflowers this morning before the rain started and they were looking much perkier than they did yesterday.

Walked down to the shopping centre today in pouring rain and gusting wind, but I have acquired a paintbrush! Got some writing done, but no crafting. Tomorrow's my husband's birthday so I'm baking a cake but probably won't be doing anything else productive at all.

I've finished the quiet book page with the Christmas gift boxes and started a new one, based on this tutorial. Mine will be very different, though - without the fluorescent stars, which I couldn't get here - not the right size ones anyway - but with pine trees, a squirrel, a rabbit and a pair of foxes instead. I've already finished the page base and fixed some of the appliances; I think I'll be done with it during the weekend. It went better than hoped.

I frogged what I started of the basket yesterday and am happier with the second draft so far. Nearly have the bottom complete.

Husband came home unexpectedly on his lunch feeling unwell. He got multiple vaccinations yesterday. Made him soup and grilled cheese. I think the dog looks more comfortable this afternoon as well (stretched out napping instead of all scrunched up).
