Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Stuck with a stupid headache this evening, which I could do without. I did get out in the garden for about an hour and a half this afternoon though. Nothing thrilling going on, just sorting through one of my piles of dead wood, breaking up whatever was dry enough for use on the fire when I eventually light it. If it snaps easily, it's usable, if not it gets shifted to another pile. I got a good sackful of wood for use, then cleared some brambles that were growing again, plus some ivy.
No cleaning up of html coding today, just a final check on what I was working on yesterday before replacing the old code. The list looks so much better now, all entries the same size and evenly spaced. I hated the way it looked before so it was well worth the effort.

Had a crafting afternoon - we were creating mosaics out of small paper squares. I'll be doing a post to my journal in a few days time.

The snowmen are finished

... but no picture yet, as the iPad mini is still at the neighbour's. I wonder when I'll get it back and whether it can be fixed at all or I'll have to buy a new one. I've already resigned to the latter, I'd just like to know which is the case and act accordingly.

The next craft project promises to be the Christmas-themed quiet book. It doesn't have an intended recipient yet, I just want to try out a few nice patterns that I saw on Pinterest and YouTube, respectively. Yesterday I already bought cross-grain ribbons in red, so the first step has been made. *g*

Of course, there's always the chance that I got distracted by some paper project, so nothing is set in stone yet.

Finished the backing, sandwiched the quilt, now to do the quilting over the next two days, binding on the weekend, hanging sleeve on Monday. TIME CRISIS!

I dug into my stash today because I have no clue where I put all my carefully purchased floss and came out with some stuff that might actually work better than my original plan! Cross your fingers!
