Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Rain on and off all day plus a coal delivery this afternoon means I've stayed indoors and done some writing. Now I intend to spend some time doing online jigsaws because they don't take too much brain power and I'm still tired from yesterday.

I did a tiny bit of sewing today; two of the Nativity scenes are finished. Eight more to go before I can return to my remaining penguins.

My cross stitch kit arrived today, much earlier than expected. It really is big! I'll have to start from the middle as it's way too many stitches to count all the way to a corner and know I've got it right.
Should finish my bookmark first though. Three quarters through the stitching and then there's the back stitch. Forgot how relaxing it is to just sit and stitch and not think about anything.
