Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

Today I worked on the quiet book binding, promptly found a serious fault with the book spine - after I had sewn it to the front cover firmly, of course - so it caused me hours and hours of unexpected work of the damage control kind. I think I have it now and can sew it to the back cover tomorrow, but my fingers seriously hurt.

I still worked a bit on the Christmas felts in front of the telly, though. The shepherds now all have a hand to hold their staffs, all sheep heads are stitched on, and the front and back panels are taped together, with the hangings also fixed with double-sided tape. Tomorrow I'll stitch them around, and then they can go into the "Christmas stuff" box.

It rained last night! Woo! Today the temperature reached a giddy 20C!

It was wet outside although not raining, I could have gone out and done some work but I decided to stay in and sort my knitting needles. Argh! I have lots of pairs, every size possible, and more odd needles than I would have believed. I have 14 green plastic knitting needles and none of them match =/ About 50 random metal needles... But I can't throw any out because I know there are quite a few knitting WiPs, both mum's and my own, lurking, and some of the odd needles might belong with them *sigh*

When we moved I got rid of a number of knitting needles, but I still seem to own a number of odd ones!

I finished the back of the mermaid cardigan today. This means I'm slightly ahead of my mental schedule, which is good as it allows for unexpected interruptions.

I am very close to being done with the namjin project - I had an attack of insecurity earlier but two different people told me it looked good, so I'm'a calm down, haha. I need to finish the umbrella and then clean up the outlining and stuff and it's done!
