Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Still recovering from yesterday, so all I've done today is writing and the essential chores, plus a bit of rescuing files from one of my old computers.

It wouldn't turn on so my friend whipped the hard drive out and bunged it in his laptop so I could access what was on it. My old computer's graphics card has died a death so now we're wondering if the motherboard from my other old computer that's the same make could be switched into the dead computer, or the hard drive from the old computer could be switched to the one that still just about works but makes a he;ll of a noise. If the noise is caused by the hard drive, switching it with the other one might fix it...

It was good, I have finally - after many years - caught up with the prompts at the Doctor Who drabble community. I have written drabbles for all 889 of them! Of course I now have almost 300 waiting to be posted, but....

I am continuing to plod on the afghan border. Apparently overdid it just enough to feel crappy today so maybe I'll just continue the afghan in tiny bits and not do much.

Overdoing anything is a bad idea. Little bits will still get you to the finish line.

I shoved a big basket of winter linens that need washed behind the door. So I don't see them and think I could "just do one more thing." :D

No time to craft by the time I'd finished work, done chores etc. I'm having enough trouble counting and coping with the way to many part stitches to be enjoying this as much as usual so no good coming into it too tired to concentrate.

Those part stitches are the reason I avoid Disney patterns. I have a few on the owl designs and it does my head on trying to figure them out. Definitely not the kind of thing you want to try when you're too tired to concentrate.

More days off work sent home (too covidy) so I spent a day making a silk fillet with some flowers made of pearls. It's finished now and I'm super pleased with it. Here's a pic of it inside out sewing it together.
