Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Made up for last Sunday by knitting 40 arm warmer rows!

Also finished 5 meeces. Didn't knit any today, but I still have 10 waiting to be finished so it's okay.

I haven't got anything done on the crochet projects - I was too tired on Friday by the time I finally finished work, then yesterday I went out for a walk and managed to end up being too tired afterwards which caused a flare up of pain in my hands, wrists and elbows and couldn't face trying to handle anything at all.

I did manage after some painkillers and a rest to do a bit of writing and filled some more prompts. Did a couple more this morning - unbelievably I've written 15 fills so far over the couple of weeks! I'm going to try and do a bit of work on the sweater now, but might only be a little bit of work.

Thanks! The second one is on 60 rows now. The first is on 100, but I'm hoping I can go to 120 on both, have to see if there's enough yarn though.

I did, very much. Did you? Or have you not seen it yet? I'm really getting to like Joe, one of the pro skaters. He's relatively new, only the last couple of years I think, but he does some really great choreography, especially the lifts.

You can only do what you can manage. Trying to do things when you're tired or in pain isn't worth the effort. Crafting is supposed to be fun, and you can't enjoy it if you're hurting.

Well done with your writing, that's a lot of fills!

Having revamped the nose for my knitted cat I've now amended the arm (front leg, but this is a doll-style cat) because the original pattern just looked all wrong and out of balance. I need to undo part of the first arm, since I've now knitted the second with the revised sizing and think it looks much better.

What colour do you say these latest arm warmers were, I forget?

Great work on designing new cat arms as well as a new nose! Patterns are great, but should maybe be considered more as a starting point to be improved upon.

I think I forgot to say, but they're dark grey because I had a fair sized odd ball.

Yes, very true. I've just shortened the arms a bit, but it certainly looks better. There will, of course, be a photo once she's done.

I do like Joe - he seems a great personality. I really liked the routines he did last year with Amy Tinkler and it was a shame they went out so quickly. This week, I was sorry for Rachel, but so pleased that Kye made it through the skate off.

All cat tails are firmly attached. Coming up: the paws. Those will take longer, though, as each cat has four of them. *g*

I have finished my first cardigan! It needs ends weaving in and blocking (badly), but all the knitting is done.

Let's hope the pain will lessen, soon. Impressive progress on the writing front, though.

With patterns, it is the same as with recipes: you try them and then you modify them to your liking.
