Hi, I'm Small Hobbit, and DK and I have been chatting about our craft projects for a while now.

My current projects:

Project One: Fair isle style jumper for my granddaughter (nearly 4) for Christmas

The front and back are done, and I intend finishing the first sleeve tonight, so it looks like it will be done in time.  The reserve date was her birthday at the end of January.

Project Two: Various knitted Christmas ornaments

The angel and Santa's washing line are completed and given to my granddaughter.  I have also done a bauble and two toy soldiers.  Currently underway a gingerbread house, which needs a little more sewing up and a Christmas tree which I began this evening while watching a rerun of a Poirot episode.

Project Three: Super sekrit cross stitch for Christmas

Project Four: Cross Stitch William Morris - Strawberry Thief

Only just begun - I received it for my birthday at the end of last month.

I also received various other crafty presents, but I haven't managed to start them yet!

I post a monthly Craft update report on my own DW page, which includes photos.  It can be found here: crafts

Oh nuts, I totally forgot to pick a crocheted snowflake/ornament out for this year. I guess I was too focused on the other things I haven't done. :D

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the fair isle jumper. You've been working on it for quite a while I know, and only one sleeve left! You can finish it for Christmas, I'm sure!

The ornaments I've seen so far have been lovely, they're such a great idea, unbreakable and easier to store than glass ones.

Oooh, William Morris! I was stitching a set of Morris-inspired floral designs earlier this year, but I only got the first one done because the charts are in black and white and I was having trouble keeping track of where I was. I need to photocopy them so I can mark off what I've done. I do want to finish them because they're lovely.

Good luck with your knitting and stitching, sounds like you've got plenty of variety to work on.

Progress has been pretty fast for fair isle, I'm impressed!

You're lucky to have both kinds of chart! Looking forward to seeing pics!

Your continued variety of craftiness and activities in general astound me, and I applaud you.
