What is get_knitted all about?
Despite the name, this community isn't just for knitters; it's for anyone who enjoys crafting of whatever variety. There will (hopefully) be daily check-in posts where members can comment to let us all know how projects are progressing. You don't have to check in every day, check-ins are optional, but it's a good way to track your progress on your projects.
Members are encouraged to post about ongoing projects, with pictures if possible. Posts requesting help with crafting problems are also welcome - there is a help! tag. Trading or giving away unwanted craft items is also encouraged, as is swapping patterns. This is intended to be a community, after all, and communities help and encourage each other in whatever ways they can.
If you'd like to make a post to introduce yourself, tell us a little about yourself, what crafts and other things you enjoy, and what you're currently working on, please do. It's a great way to get to know members and make friends with people who have similar interests.
Simple Rules
Please tag your posts with the appropriate tags. If a tag doesn't exist for your project or craft, you can request one on the Questions and Suggestions post and it will be created for you.
Please play nicely. Be polite to other members and the mods, and be encouraging. Trolls will be summarily banished.
Please place long entries under a cut.
Please try to keep your photos to a reasonable size. It's easy to crop pictures or reduce their size before adding them to posts using most inds of grahics programs. Windows Paint works fine for me.
