Making your own post would be more noticeable. I figured if I gave people time before the check-ins started people could introduce themselves, but then I got my intro post up late and nobody else posted...
Getting new communities off the ground isn't easy, and in the middle of NaNo probably wasn't the best time, but I didn't think of that at the time.
Check-ins I'm thinking of starting tomorrow, or is that too soon? I want to get things moving along, try and get people talking and crafting and talking about crafting...
