If I abandon the back for now and do a sleeve, I can see whether I'll have enough yarn to make the back a bit longer. The length it is now up to the armholes will be fine if it looks like I might be short of yarn, but a bit longer would be nice. 2 cm is only about 8 rows, but I'd rather have a shorter sweater than run out of yarn.
