I had to rip four(!!) rows of stitches to get the worn elastic band off of those pajamas before sewing the ribbon in--and then patching the few holes I accidentally poked in the fabric with my seam-ripper. Now I'm working on adding a cover on a plaid but I did my preliminary maths wrong. Plan B: deep-clean my kitchen, it's the only room wide enough so I can spread the sheets on the ground and just plop one rectangle over the other to pin them.
