A have this friend who dug out pictures of a "sushi scarf" that looks like a maki roll when you take it off and, well, roll it; said it would be perfect for another friend's birthday. I agree but there are several problems: all the free patterns I found are for crochet and I only knit, and anyway we just hit the first heatwave of the year and it's to freaking hot to knit--or learn crochet--at the moment!! Luckily said birthday is in October so I have time enough to adapt and do it later. And in the meantime I have yet another pajama bottom to alter. But I'm so frustrated, I *want* to do the sushi scarf now!!
