Hi, I'm Jay, I mostly do embroidery, but also I do some handsewing, dyeing and other crafts for cosplay. I used to knit as a kid/teenager and I've recently started to take it up again.
Currently it's the Year of Making Presents for me and I'm trying to finish off a wedding present embroidery, I basically finished the bride's present but I'm still working on the groom's. And then I need to make the present for my brother's wedding (table runner), and also I offered to embroider initials on all the pocket squares for his groomsmen. Normally I do more fannish embroidery, I have a few small Warhammer 40k pieces I'm willing to trade or give away if anyone's interested.

bride:
it's technically done but if I have time I'm going to fix some of the wonky lines and do the second layer on the thorns (my brown floss was eaten by the portal for like a month)

groom:
I've been embroidering how many years now (...3 or 4) and it took until now for me to get over my aversion to french knots, originally I thought I'd do those flowers just as satin stitch with a darker border but I decided to give french knots a shot and I'm glad I did.
