I went and bought one more ball of wool to be sure and got lucky: there wasn't the right colour on the shelves anymore but the vendor had a tiny secret stash somewhere and could get me just the one I was asking for. Yay!! Now I'm thinking about doing the sleeves before finishing the torso; how bad an idea would that be?
