I'm new, saw this community recommended in crafty so thought I would join the fun! I've been crocheting a LOT since Halloween and my hands hurt very badly. I've been wanting to get back to knitting because it's easier on my hands, so since all the decor and gifting projects are done, I'm back to my old friend knitting.
So what did I do? I go back to this afghan I was working on that I was using row counters and a whole Method™ to ensure that I'd know what I was doing when I went back to it, since I last worked on it in September. And of course I didn't understand what any of the cryptic notes I left for myself meant. I did finally figure out what row I was on (after starting it one way and seeing after a few stitches that that was messing the pattern up *facepalm*), so I'm good to go as long as I don't leave it and forget what I'm doing again. So clearly the answer is to just not stop until the afghan is done. Lol. We'll see how long that lasts. XD
