No crafting today because the sun was shining and it was wonderful outside. Spent the morning half frozen indoors, wrapped in blankets while writing, and the afternoon outside in my shirtsleeves. Just shows how cold my house gets at this time of year.


Anyway, made progress clearing weeds from what is meant to be a flower bed. About the only flowers in there this year were some old primulas and a single foxglove. Lots of docks, dandelions, and bindweed though. I'm just stripping the weeds and grass off the top at the moment, hoping the ground might dry out enough for a bit of digging later in the week. It's clay soil, and after yesterday's rain it's sticky.
