I used to keep that kind of thing to myself but one day I shared a particularly awful mistake I'd made and I was overwhelmed with others sharing their most terrible sewing disasters including a lady I'd looked up to for years who happily informed me she made the same left leg of an outfit four times. Four. Times. We all bonded, and it was nice to see how much people appreciated me being honest about making mistakes. They said it made them feel less bad about their own mistakes and it encouraged them to not give up and just keep trying. I expected to be laughed at for being stupid, but all I got was encouragement. :)
