So, yesterday I made 17 sets of spider legs, only to realise last night that they're too thick. I made them with two strands of yarn because I thought that was what I'd used last time I made spiders. Wrong. I need to use one stand per pair of legs, which means the yarn I've already cut is enough for twice as many spiders *sigh*


Anyway, today I've made 15 sets of legs, and working with only one strand is a lot simpler, the knots pull tight more easily. I'm going to try this evening to dismantle the legs I made yesterday, see if I can salvage the yarn. Ah well, everybody makes mistakes!


I soaked my fabric and hung it outside to dry. The creases are still there, but not as bad so I might be able to get away without ironing in. We shall see.
