Summer is finally here! It's been around 27C today, lovely and sunny, and I had laundry drying on the line while I wrestled the rose into submission. There are still a few bits up in the conifer, but they can't be attached to anything since there are no rose stems going that way anymore. I guess the bits will dry up and maybe some will fall out if it gets windy. Doesn't matter now, the rose will not be in the way when the conifer is removed.
I also cleared the dead laurel leaves off the path again. I need to keep it clear so that it's safe to walk on.
Tomorrow I'll see if I can find something more restful to do outside, while I enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. The rose was hard work. It's set to be even hotter tomorrow though, so I want to keep in the shade.
