It is from Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker! It's a minion (a critter that follows you around) as well as being integral to the story of Endwalker.
I finished the knitting part of the first half of my secret project today! There's some finishing to do yet, plus the entire second half to knit. Really pleased with how it's coming along, though!
